Being highly sensitive or empathic is a gift and you may deeply desire to re-connect with the power of that gift and the soulful inner muse who makes magic everywhere she goes.  Perhaps you are craving a deeper understanding, a knowing, of what it means to be highly sensitive and how to stay grounded while the world around you is in upheaval.  Maybe you have been finding yourself snapping at those you love most, feeling unequipped to manage and control all the moving parts, or even feel misunderstood and judged by others as lazy, weak or selfish.

As super sensitives, we feel EVERYTHING and tend to take on supporting roles in our lives but when it comes to our own self-care, it can be challenging to know where and how to start.  You probably instinctively know that caring for yourself is critical to your ability to care for others without getting burned out, but time and energy may seem scarce and the gym is likely the last place your sensitive energy feels drawn to.

This 6 week course will support you to overhaul your relationship to self-care and create a self-care ritual that will not only ground you deeply into the magic and power these gifts offer, but one that will also fit into your schedule AND unique style.  You will even be able to modify this ritual as needed for the different seasons and demands of your life.

What you’ll get:

  • A fun, playful yet deeply transformational group coaching experience
  • Five (5) 75 minute small group coaching sessions on the topic of self-care, your self-care pattern and fundamental mindset, getting your needs met through creative win/wins, and finding your own balance in an unbalanced world
  • One (1) expert speaker session on a topic relevant to self-care for sensitive souls:  UPDATE:  Joy Jordon of BornJoy Mindfulness will be our guest speaker for this event
  • 3 weeks of playful experimentation and accountability to try out new self-care practices catered to highly sensitive bodies that are simple to follow, easy to implement and effective in supporting you to experience your body as grounded, energized and in flow more of the time
  • 2 weeks of group support and accountability to integrate your own unique self-care routine based on what you already know works for you coupled with what you loved from the experimentation phase
  • A nourishing safe space to show up exactly as you are and increase your self-love
  • A basic understanding of your personal Ayurvedic Dosha and tips to thrive in your Dosha
  • Training on how to use meditation to ground yourself and release draining energies as well as what it means to be highly sensitive and why it is your super power
  • A printable, customized and realistic self-care plan (complete with check boxes to delight your inner control freak!) uniquely designed by you for your schedule and needs as a highly sensitive person

The time commitment is 75 minutes once per week for six weeks of group session and up to 30 minutes per day dedicated to self-care.

Group sessions will be held in-person at Lawe Street Wellness on Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 7:45pm CST beginning February 19, 2019 and go for six (6) consecutive weeks (February 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26).
